If you have never changed the signature that is appended to emails that you send from your iPhone, then it probably says “Sent from my iPhone” at the end of any new email that you send. This happens to a lot of people, and most email users have become conditioned to it.
However, you might not want people to know that you are sending emails from your iPhone, or you might like to take the opportunity to include additional ways that you can be contacted. The steps below will show you how to change the email signature for your emails on an iPhone.
Step 1: Tap the Settings icon.
Step 2: Scroll down and select the Mail menu.
Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap the Signature option in the Composing section.
Step 4: Select the All Accounts option if you want to set one signature for all of your email accounts, or select the Per Account option and specify a separate email signature for each of the email accounts that are set up on your iPhone. You can then enter the desired signature into the signature field.
Is there an email account set up on your iPhone that you don’t use very much anymore? Find out how to delete that mail account so that you stop receiving new messages. This is especially effective if it’s an email account that receives a lot of spam or newsletters, as that type of unwanted mail can easily take over your inbox.
